Job Summary The Safety Coordinator works as a partner with all facets of operations to analyze the manufacturing process to eliminate hazards.
The Safety Coordinator will assist employees in identifying and correcting hazards, establishing best safe practices, and training/ coaching employees.
This individual will be responsible for the daily safety and environmental requirements associated with each crew and will have the support of Managers, Operational leaders, and EHS Directors to assist and help you grow your career in EHS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in coordination, planning and facilitating training seminarsEducate staff via weekly safety trainingsWeekly coaching on Lockout/Tagout and procedural auditsWork alongside managers/employees on EHS issuesRecognize safety hazards or unsafe work practices and develop Corrective Action PlansAssist site management as needed with various EHS and production related projectsResponsible for EHS Compliance at siteRoutinely inspect/observe plant equipment and activities for safe processesPrepare and submit all required reports to Oldcastle or applicable agencyKeep the plant in compliance with EH&S regulationsAttend monthly safety committee meetingHalt any unsafe action or workEnsure all inspections and meetings are completed each monthOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed Requirements / Education / Experience High school degree required; Associates Degree preferredMinimum 2 years' Experience with Safety Programs and Compliance Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step by step instructionsAdequate computer skillsDetail-orientedVerbal, written communications and presentations skillsMaintain safety records and prepare monthly safety reportsPrepare for and interact with plan employees in relation to Worker's Compensation mattersInteract with insurance carriers, third party administrators and physicians in relation to Workman's compensation and Health and Welfare Program Physical Environment The employee will be required to stand for extended periods of timeThe employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 65 lbs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
