Director of Pharmacy
Reports to CEO There are 7 FTEs that report to the DOP No Asst Director or Clinical Manager Software/Systems:
A hybrid of Horizon Meds Management, AcuDose, PatientKeeper and PSS (Patient Safe solutions) Shifts:
After hours and weekend call is provided by the staff pharmacists (Director doesn't take call- but of course is always back-up) Description Leads, manages, and supports pharmacy and hospital personnel to achieve comprehensive, contemporary , credible, and reliable pharmaceutical services across the organization's continuum of care.
Oversees the effective integration of operational, fiscal, and clinical resources throughout all areas of the Pharmacy to ensure that the Department achieves the highest level of safe, efficacious and cost effective care for patients while meeting the organization's mission, vision, and strategic initiatives.
Leads the assessment, development and implementation of automation and informatics technologies to advance the organization's delivery of pharmaceutical care
Qualifications Education:
Graduate of accredited Pharmacy degree program
Experience:
Minimum of five years clinical pharmacy experience required; two years management/supervisory experience required.
Licensed to practice in the State of Florida required This job is a full time permanent position.
Must be a US citizen, permanent resident or green card holder.
